Meet The Author

Hi, I'm author Amanda J. Parr. I was born in a little town in England called Leigh, but now I live in Belgium with my husband and my seven cats. Since my school days I have always had an interest in crime related books, history and knowledge. Prohibition Chicago and the gangsters of the time hold a particular interest for me, and now at the age of twenty-eight I am delighted to present my first book on the subject. With over four years of  research and writing, together with many fact finding trips to the States, I feel I almost know Jack personally.
